                     DNA methylation
DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) Renal cell carcinoma Moderate hypermethylation
Interaction Name DNMT-UMPS interaction
The Methylation Level of Disease Section Compare with the Other Disease Section Moderate hypermethylation
p-value: 1.79E-06; delta-beta: 2.06E-02
Description DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) is reported to moderatly hyper-methylate the UMPS gene, which leads to a moderatly decreased expression of the drug-metabolizing enzyme Uridine 5'-monophosphate synthase. As a result, the interaction between DNMT and UMPS can moderatly affect the drug-metabolizing process of Uridine 5'-monophosphate synthase.
