Histone deacetylase 8 (HDAC8) Lung cancer Activation
Uniprot ID
HDAC8_HUMAN
Interaction Name HDAC8-PGM1 interaction [1]
Studied Cell Lines Lung cancer cells
Description Histone deacetylase 8 (HDAC8) phosphorylation is reported to acetylate the PGM1 gene and thereby activates the transcriptional activity of the drug-metabolizing enzyme Phosphoglucomutase 1. As a result, the interaction between HDAC8 and PGM1 can enhance the drug-metabolizing process of Phosphoglucomutase 1.
