Description Stem cell protein (TAL1) is reported to activate the transcription of ALDH1A2 gene, which leads to an increased expression of the drug-metabolizing enzyme Retinal dehydrogenase 2. As a result, the interaction between TAL1 and ALDH1A2 can activate the drug-metabolizing process of Retinal dehydrogenase 2.
